ABOUT —
Dina Rudick is a journalist by ethic and a filmmaker by craft, specializing in cinematic documentary work at the intersection of science, medicine, and human impact.
During her sixteen years as a staff photojournalist at The Boston Globe, Dina helped found the paper’s video department in 2008. A five-time New England Emmy Award winner, including twice for long-form documentary, she is the founder and Creative Director of Anthem.
Dina’s work translates complex scientific and medical ideas into clear, emotionally grounded narratives without sacrificing rigor or truth. Her films have supported international advocacy and education efforts, including a multi-month global initiative centered on cystic fibrosis that brought patient stories and scientific progress to audiences worldwide.
Dina is also a founding board member and communications director for Agential Biology Institute, nonprofit research organization investigating a learning-first theory of biology.

Before the films, there were photographs. Sixteen years as a staff photojournalist at The Boston Globe — documenting life in New England, the Americas, Europe, Africa, Pakistan, Indonesia, Bolivia, Haiti, and beyond — gave Dina the singular way of seeing that runs through every frame she makes today.
